About
Who am I?
Hi, my name is James and I can’t run. As I write this several thousand people are running 26.2 miles around central London in the 30th London marathon. Some are dressed as beer bottles, some run for charity and others for fun. They’re all mad. However for what I lack in enthusiasm in running I make up for with a passion for walking, web development and of course beer.
This site is a test bed for different web development tools, techniques and Ideas that I might have had whilst providing a space to put photos and information about the subjects I am interested in. As such it is in a pretty much constant prototype state so things may change shape/colour/design or just break entirely whilst I experiment.
Below are some vague descriptions on some of the idea’s I’ve had and how I’ve implemented them. If you want me to explain anything in greater detail or have any questions or suggestions about I’ve written here email me or use the contact form.
What do I do?
I am a web developer who enjoys beer, walking, the great outdoors and experimenting with JavaScript, PHP and various web APIs, (although not all at the same time). Current flavour of the moment is JQuery, WordPress and custom PHP hacks to see what I can get away with.
